JOHN HODGES |
The Owner, he has spent most of his working life in the on-trade, running wine bars and restaurants in London. His hands-on experience in the wine trade means he has probably drunk most of the wines he sells you and those he hasn't, well, he is more that happy to try. All in the interest of research and development, of course. John’s great love is Cloudy Bay and he has even been on the pilgrimage to see where and how it is made. | |||

LESLEY NEWBURY |
Lesley has been in the wine trade for practically all her working life which is rather longer than she would care to admit to ! She has always worked for suppliers to the retail trade but is having much more fun working the other side of the counter and selling to the people who actually drink the stuff. Lesley doesn’t really have any particular wine favourites, but already her descriptions of wines have become legendary – basically she works on the “Y” factor, otherwise known as the “Yum Factor” & will happily allot any number of “Y”s to those wines she particularly likes. |

PHIL JONES |
Phil came to the Wine Industry relatively late in life as he has always had a passion for wine. Following a course in wine appreciation, Phil decided that in fact he would prefer to teach rather than be a student and now runs adult education classes. His grand passion is Amarone and he is more than happy to share all his knowledge of this wine with anyone who is happy to listen ! |

Marc joined the company in 2001 and despite a non wine background rapidly developed both a passion for drinking it and a talent for selling it. He is happy to regale you with amazing descriptions of just about everything we have on the shelf. No mean feat ! Marc has a passion for Burgundy and tries to attend as many Burgundy tastings as possible. |
